Railbus

As part of an informal design group known as D7, we developed and delivered the bodywork and interior design of a rail bus. It is a single-unit, lightweight motor vehicle intended for regional transport service. A key element was reducing the weight of the rail bus's structure, achieved through the use of high-quality steel with an aluminum skin. This ensures not only high durability of the vehicle but, above all, the lightness mentioned earlier, which is crucial for fuel consumption and achievable speeds. Ergonomics was also an important element, particularly within the cockpit space.
