Our collaboration with CEZOS, a Gdynia-based manufacturer of lighting system components, resulted in the design of a clip for mounting and adjusting the power cables of pendant lamps.

The innovation of the solution lay in changing the way it was mounted. Previously used clips had to be fitted onto the cable at the lamp assembly stage. We designed a flexible clip that can instead be clipped onto the cable only after the lamp has already been hung from the ceiling, and its position can then be freely adjusted.

This small structural solution significantly simplified the assembly of complete light fixtures, shortened installation time, and increased the efficiency of the production process. The project reflects our approach to industrial design, in which innovation doesn't have to mean complex technology — sometimes a small structural change can simplify the entire production and assembly process of a product.

The clip is still manufactured by CEZOS today and distributed across European markets. The solution has been used in many light fixtures worldwide, suitable for both low and high-ceilinged spaces.
