Pesa 620M inspection bus for PESA Bydgoszcz
Commissioned by PESA Bydgoszcz on behalf of a Ukrainian investor, and working as part of the informal design group D7, we developed and delivered the bodywork and interior design, including specialized fittings, for an inspection railcar. The Pesa 620M is a type of broad-gauge diesel inspection railcar. A defining feature — and standard — of this railcar is its furniture made of durable, hydrophobic teak wood, along with leather seats. The railcars we designed are now in operation in Lithuania, Ukraine, and Belarus. Work on the project included a series of technical and ergonomic analyses.
